In celebration of the close of TAFI 2018, hear from the 2017 Best in Festival winner, Kris Theorin, about his developing career in filmmaking. Theorin is a self-taught animator, DP, editor, and VFX artist. He started learning stop motion animation when he was 10 years old. At 15, he was hired to create videos for the LEGO group and now at 20 years old he creates content for several national brands including Disney, Warner Bros., LEGO, Mattel, JazWares, Tongal, and Zing Toys. Stop motion animation is one of his specialties, but he is equally as talented creating 2D and 3D animations, live action short films, and commercials. His latest 2D animated movie was created in conjunction with Disney's A Wrinkle in Time Warrior Stories project and can be seen on the Disney website.
